Aceh Heritage Village: Right when you walk in, you'll see two beautifully restored historic Acehnese houses featuring hand carved and painted decorations. This is totally unique on the island, and it's a must-see. Sometimes there are events there, so check with the resort to see about the schedule. The restaurant: The restaurant is stunning with an inviting porch that reveals the ocean and the lush landscape. The food is delightful with a mix of Indonesian and Western options. I am gluten free with a sensitive stomach. The restaurant always accommodates my dietary restrictions, and I always feel good after I eat there! If you will be staying awhile, you can even bring your own gluten free flour, and they will prepare something special for you. I love the ayam tangkap (an Acehnese specialty that you can't find many places on the island) and tom yum. The rooms: Every bungalow is done in the traditional Acehnese style with wooden carved decorations. My bungalow had a porch with a hammock which was the perfect place to relax while watching the ocean and listening to the sounds of nature. The bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water and it was easy to control the temperature, which cannot be said of many showers on the island. There was also a fridge and water dispenser in the room including hot water and china cups. The spa: I have had some of the best massages of my life at the spa here. My favorite is the Javanese. Masseuses are expertly trained and accommodating with any issues you may have. Friends of mine have had waxing done with excellent results. The beach: Great for lounging and a gentle swim.

One highlight was how they assisted me in organizing a snorkeling trip with a local fisherman — a unique and unforgettable experience! The bungalows are tucked away in a beautiful garden on a hillside. Everything is very well kept . Stunning sunrise at the nice stretch of beach. Drinks and snacks at the beach bar . The restaurant offers a variety of western kitchen as well as Indonesian . All tasteful and nicely prepared. The breakfast buffet had various and healthy dishes every day. The employees are very well trained by the caring owner . Almost everyone speaks good English. I felt immediately welcomed in the casa Nemo family. Good massage in the spa . At Casa Nemo you get a lot for your money. I highly recommend this place. I already came here for the second time .
